Worshipful Brother Wade Murphy was elected to become the Master of ACME 83 F. & A. Masons during our December stated meeting and was installed as Master of our lodge on December 18th, 2014. WB Wade became an EA on 8/27/09 and since that time he has done everything within is power to improve the lodge. WB Dennis R. Davis appointed WB Wade to the position of Junior Steward in 2010. During which time WB Wade followed the officer manual and performed his JS responsibilities of cutting pies, cleaning tables, and of course learning his lecture responsibilities. He has gone beyond is “normal” responsibilities at every station in the lodge. He has done a tremendous amount outside the lodge as well – which is probably even more important. We have no doubt that WB Wade will continue to do a great job both inside an outside of the lodge.
Holiday Greetings. I would like to thank the brethren for the honor of allowing the officers to serve the lodge, and fraternity, this year.
This holiday season we were able to display some masonic charity by giving our time, and effort, to help Smiles for LifeTM, a non-profit organization, play some holiday themed games, and distribute gifts at Sand Castle Shelter. Some dressed as elves, trees, Rudolph, and even Santa himself. The reaction of the children made it all worth it. I would recommend donating your time next year to anyone who has never tried it. It is one of the most rewarding things you can give, and truly shows one of the many facets of masonry to the rest of the world. If you are interested in helping next year, please contact myself, or WB Ben Lawson Laureys. Fraternally, WB Wade Murphy
